Time Reminders in Your Kitchen

How do you keep track of time in the kitchen? The reason I ask is that I got my cooking pot burned up while I was away for 'just a while'. Eventually I learned of some tips and put into practice and save my kitchen in many ways. If you have some great tips, please write me.

Here are some tips for tracking time recipes:

(1) Get A Minute Alarm Clock
This little item has saved my kitchen a couple of time as I set this clock on alarm after 1 or 2 minute and it reminds me to switch off the fire on the stove. You can be easily distracted or called away from the kitchen by a phone call. So this alarm will help a plenty. One note on stove with bells. Some stoves come with bells to let you know of cooking time reached. But getting an additional alarm will help you with cooking your dish in timely fashion.

(2) Use A Notepad
These handy notepads are swift to use when you need it. I put a few of these notepads around so that at any moment, I can write short notes and bring that note with me to remind me. Be sure to keep some pens and pencils with the notepads too to avoid hunting for writing stationary. Even better use marker pens so that the words are striking to remind you usefully.

(3) Stay In The Kitchen
If you are those who can get easily distracted like me, it is good to stay in the kitchen while you are cooking. Even if someone is at the door, you can choose to switch off the fire first for safety reasons. Though it may save time in some aspects, but for safety reasons, it is better to be sure we do not leave any cooking fire unattended and risk losing your kitchen and home.

Wish you and family many more enjoyable and memorable cooking experiences in your kitchen.
